Teaching period at UNIZA usually starts on the last Monday of September. The official academic year starts on 1st September. Teaching period is divided into winter and summer semesters and examination periods. Students can find important dates in the academic calendars of their faculties.

The University underwent a comprehensive accreditation in 2015. The educational, research, development and other creative activities of the University were reviewed and evaluated within this accreditation. On the basis of the granted rights it provides education at all three levels of study (BA., MA. / ENG., PhD.). The University annually evaluates the results in all areas of its operation. Information about the provision of higher education is part of the Annual Activity Report for the calendar year.

We only offer accredited programmes with good professional and material support. You can choose from 37 bachelor, 37 engineer/master and 25 doctoral programmes in full-time form of study.
