Accommodation facilities are part of UNIZA and serve to provide accommodation for UNIZA students and employees as well as other persons under the specified conditions.

Accommodation facilities are part of the campus. The scope of academic rights and freedoms, their use and the inviolability of the campus are governed by Section 4 of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education and on the Change and Supplement to Some Acts.

Sport, cultural, information and other interest groups, associations and clubs and student organizations organized by students or for students may be held in the premises of accommodation facilities in accordance with the valid statute of UNIZA.

There are four accommodation facilities: accommodation facility Veľký Diel, accommodation facility Hliny V, accommodation facility in Ružomberok and accommodation facility in Liptovský Mikuláš.

Accommodation facilities provide accommodation to UNIZA students under the UNIZA contract for the provision of accommodation services. Prices for accommodation services are determined according to the valid price lists of relevant facilities. Price lists can be seen on the websites of accommodation facilities Hliny  and Veľký Diel .

It is a student self-government body created for each accommodation facility separately. The Board shall be accountable for its activities towards accommodated students of relevant accommodation facility. It represents accommodated students in relation to the management of accommodation facility and to the management of UNIZA and its faculties.

Accommodation and related services to full-time students.

Short-term accommodation and related services to part-time students, lifelong learning students including students of the University of the Third Age, student visits, UNIZA workplaces, participants in events organized by UNIZA workplaces.

The accommodation facility Veľký Diel provides accommodation for full-time students, foreign students and guests.

Accommodation capacity during the academic year is 2330 accommodation places. Accommodation capacity for guests is 100 accommodation places during the whole calendar year.

During the summer holidays (July – September) it is possible to provide the whole accommodation capacity for mass events.

Double and triple rooms. There are shared lavatories and showers on each floor. Each floor has a kitchenette.

There are snack-bar, coffee-bar and pizza place in blocks DE-DF and DG-DH. Near the area there is a catering facility with a capacity of about 1000 people. It offers boarding and social events.

There is the possibility of parking for cars and buses.

A modern self-service laundry located on the ground floor of the DG building is available for accommodated students. Meeting rooms, clubhouses and cinema for about 150 people are also available for students. There is the possibility of parking for cars and buses.

It provides accommodation in 9 blocks for full-time students, part-time students, lifelong learning students, foreign students, players of volleyball club Slavia UNIZA.

In accommodation blocks there are units for 5 people. Unit consists of two 2 rooms 2+3, a hall and a toilet. There is also one transition room on one floor. There are shared showers on each floor.

In the facility there are television rooms, study rooms, conference rooms, kitchenettes, FIT centre, climbing wall, two boxing rings for Thai box, aerobics, squash, infra sauna, finish sauna, whirlpool bath, solarium, COPY centre.

In the accommodation facility HLINY there is also the Old Menza building with a buffet where meals are served for UNIZA students and employees. Other premises of Menza are used for sports and social activities.

The facility offers hairdressing salon for men and women, dentist, massage salon and student employment agency.

Accommodation for UNIZA employees is provided in block H1, where each faculty has approximately 5 apartments.
