What does psychological counselling deal with?
- Prevention and support in solving study difficulties (e.g., effective ways of learning, coping with stress and stage fright, adaptation to the university environment, etc.);
- Self-knowledge and self-development, as support for orientation in one's goals, needs, abilities and qualities, in creating one's plans and in their implementation;
- Prevention and solving problems in relationships (family, partnership, friendship, work-related relationships, etc.);
- Prevention and support in dealing with psychological problems – strong emotional lability, impulsiveness, anger, depressive moods, problems related to food intake, psychological problems that develop into physical symptoms (insomnia, loss of appetite, migraines or other pains, etc.), problems related to excessive alcohol consumption and drug use.
