L'Université de Žilina est l'un des principaux établissements d'enseignement supérieur de Slovaquie, reconnue pour sa longue tradition, son approche moderne et son lien étroit entre éducation, recherche et innovation. The Rector of the University of Žilina (hereinafter referred to as the "Rector" and "UNIZA") in accordance with Section 10 (5) of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions and on the Amendment of Certain Acts, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Higher Education Act") and in accordance with Article 2 (5) of Directive No. 233 – Principles of Election of a Candidate for Rector and Acceptance of a Proposal for the Dismissal of the Rector of the University of Žilina (hereinafter referred to as the "Principles of Election of a Candidate for Rector", after approval by the Electoral Assembly on 1.12.2025, announces the election of a candidate for the Rector of the University of Žilina for the term of office from 03.07.2026 to 02.07.2030.
