The topic of internationalisation is an important part of the University of Žilina and, therefore, one of its main priorities. For this reason, the university continuously works on strengthening existing collaborations within the international environment and developing new ones. One of the activities within UNIZA's internationalisation endeavours is an event called International Week. The main goal of this event is to expand and strengthen cooperation with partner institutions, share experiences in internationalisation, exchange best practices and ideas among university staff from across Europe, support networking, and create new partnerships. The themes of International Weeks vary, as they aim to reflect current developments and trends in international relations, education, and internationalisation.
