2. Definition of the HPaIP field

The HPaIP Construction is assigned to the 35th Civil Engineering Department.

The HPaIP Construction contains a wide range of knowledge, especially in the field of construction technology, optimization of construction processes, preparation and management of investments and investment projects, information systems, information technology and methods of evaluating economic efficiency, including revenue analysis.

The core topics of the knowledge core enable applicants to master progressive methods of mathematical-computer simulations and computational methods of design optimization and construction technology implementation. On the basis of knowledge from diagnostics and probability theory, the applicant has knowledge in the field of designing the optimization of modernization and rehabilitation within the systems of road and bridge management. Within the areas of construction technologies, he is able to optimize technological processes in relation to the life cycle of buildings, their service life and environmental aspects. The core topics of knowledge of investment subject management enable him to manage the preparation and implementation of large investment projects and to manage construction processes based on state-of-the-art technologies and management systems.

The core areas of knowledge enable the applicant to apply knowledge to increase the reliability and safety of engineering and transport structures. As part of the evaluation of investment preparation, he has the knowledge to assess and propose solutions based on calculations of the value of building assets in relation to societal needs and technical condition. The candidate has the knowledge to manage the management of engineering and transport infrastructure, including the application of decision-making optimization methods. Within management, the field of study is based on knowledge of methodologies and application of advanced IT tools for design and management within the life cycle of buildings from preparation, construction, operation and rehabilitation to its liquidation, taking into account the principles of sustainability.

The HPaIP Construction is a broad-based department that provides profiling opportunities based on a specific focus of knowledge. These are the following profiling options:

1.Management of preparation and implementation of investment projects. Knowledge focus: Investment project management, Environmental studies, Life cycle analysis of transport structures

2.Preparation and management of construction technologies and construction processes. Knowledge focus: Time planning, Mathematical - computer simulation, Selected states of geomechanics, Complex quality management,

3.Research and operation management of buildings and transport infrastructure management systems. Focus of knowledge: Transport construction management system, Reliability and reconstruction of civil engineering, Design of transport structures

The content of the HPaIP Construction is based on the requirements in the field of management and construction technology, and is focused on the complexity of the solution using the latest knowledge of science, research and practice. construction. The applicant is also a highly qualified expert in the field of construction with a major focus on technology theory and construction management. He masters the scientific methods of research and development, can independently solve serious problems of scientific discipline and professional practice and is able to implement the transfer of knowledge of science and research. The content of scientific activity is a scientific experiment - computational, laboratory or "in situ" experiment and methods of its evaluation. Based on them, the applicant has the ability to design and implement new research and technological methods. The applicant is capable of scientific research activities in the framework of international cooperation and presentation of the results of scientific work at the domestic and international level.
The candidate is able to apply elements of independent, critical and analytical thinking in the evolving conditions of the company's development. It is based on social, scientific and ethical aspects in the creation of research intentions and the implementation of research results. He can use his skills as a leader of a creative research team. The applicant performs his / her activity on the principles and principles of scientific work, ethical and social standards, the development of the field of study and the implementation of results in professional practice.

The content of the HPaIP Construction is based on the requirement that the applicant be competent and able to implement his knowledge in technology and construction management, including the competence to perform scientific, research and development activities in the following areas:

- project and investment management, development and life cycle assessment of investment projects.

 - construction production management systems based on optimization processes and quality control management systems

 - development and implementation of construction technologies, including their energy and economic assessment

- assessments of constructions in terms of environmental impact and economic efficiency

- transport infrastructure management systems based on asset management and control systems

- implementation and development of GIS and BIM information systems, especially in project activities, economics and management of buildings and infrastructure.

- scientific research activities in the field of technology theory, construction management and operation of construction infrastructure

5. Level of research, artistic and other activities in the HPaIP field and level of quality culture of UNIZA
a List of the most significant 25 outputs of a group of 5 persons documenting the implementation of long-term and continuous research, artistic and other activities in the HPaIP field, the intensity and extend of which correspond to the nature of these proceedings and whose results are on an internationally significant level.
(for each person there must be at least 2 outputs from the period of the last 6 years prior to the year in which the relevant accreditation application was submitted, ensuring the availability of records of the submitted outputs in databases and registers and compliance with other provisions of the standards).
